How cooking profit works in Albion Online

Food in Albion is crafted at the Cook in a city kitchen from farm produce, meat and fish. Every craft draws from a recipe — soups, pies, omelettes, salads, stews, roasts, sandwiches — and Lymhurst's cook station carries the city bonus that lifts the RRR (Resource Return Rate).

Demand for food is steady because buffs expire — guilds and PvE players burn through soups and pies daily — so cooking is one of the more reliable economy loops. The calculator pulls live ingredient prices and the finished-food price together, so you see real net margin, not just material cost.

Profit per focus is reported alongside profit per dish, which matters once you're cooking at scale and focus, not silver, is the limiter.

FAQ

Is the cooking calculator free?

Yes. The calculator and live prices are free and need no account. Saved recipes persist in your browser. Signing in adds cross-device sync and lets you apply your character's cooking mastery automatically.

Does it include farm and fishing inputs?

Yes — recipes are costed from their raw inputs (crops, meat, fish, herbs) at live AODP prices, so the margin reflects what you actually pay for ingredients.

Where do the prices come from?

From the Albion Online Data Project (AODP), polled roughly every five minutes and cached by AlbionCore to keep the tool fast.
