How refining profit works in Albion Online
Refining turns raw resources — ore, hide, fibre, wood and stone — into refined materials: bars, leather, cloth, planks and blocks. Each refined unit needs a lower-tier refined input plus raw of the same tier, so profit depends on three live prices at once: the raw, the lower refined and the output.
Albion's Resource Return Rate (RRR) gives back a portion of the materials you put in — higher in your bonus city, higher again with premium, and stacked further by hideout power + BZ rings in the Black Zone. The calculator treats that return as a discount on your material cost, which is what makes high-volume refining profitable even on thin margins.
Because focus raises the return rate further, the tool reports profit per focus point alongside profit per unit, so you can rank what to refine by the resource you actually run out of.
